On August 24, 2020, vice president Luan Tiangang visited the Second People's Hospital of Guangdong Province and met with director Qu hongying and deputy director Li Cheng of the hospital.

On the meeting, vice president Luan Tiangang give introduced the progress of the construction of Guangdong University of Technology Jieyang Institute. He pointed out that, since GDUT received the assignment from the provincial government, we worked closely and sincerely with the Jieyang government. After one year of hard work, the construction of Guangdong University of Technology Jieyang Institute is progressing smoothly so far.
