On September 23, the Guangdong-Shenzhen EDAN Postgraduate Joint Training Base was unveiled in Shenzhen. Guangdong University of Technology and Shenzhen EDAN jointly established the Biomedical Technology Research Institute and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Joint Laboratory for high-end medical devices were unveiled at the same time.
Xie Xicheng, vice President of EDAN said the two sides should give full play to their respective advantages and work together to cultivate talents, and jointly tackle key problems in core technologies and key components of high-end medical devices.
Chen Weimin, vice President of GDUT, said that in-depth integration between universities and enterprises should be further promoted, especially in the cultivation of high-end talents in medical devices and the development of core biomedical signal processing technologies so as to realize coordinated development between universities and enterprises in the current complex international political and economic environment.
