As 31st December, 2019, the employment rates of postgraduate students from School of Materials and Energy is 100%, including PhD and master students. The rates reached 95.23% for undergraduate students. In accordance with the guideline of "Supporting those who in needs ", the school has identifying various kinds of grants and the students who with financial difficulties. The work has been done fairly and transparently. Among scholarship recipients, 8 received the national scholarships, 140 the national motivational awards, 437 national grants, 18 university grants, 18 freshmen grants, and comprehensive evaluation scholarships. A total of 32 students who with financial difficulties have been filed and registered, 456 students from poor families as added into the Provincial data base; and 65 national university student loan contracts have been signed. In 2018, 466 contracts of the national student loan are due, with 461 of them been settled, the settlement rate is 98.93%. In addition, in order to strengthen the personal credit awareness and urge them to actively fulfill their loan repayment obligations after their graduation, the school have held “The 2018 graduates loans settlement confirmation and integrity education conference”.
