A total of 166 projects in GDUT have been funded，with a funding amount of 70.72 million yuan and the number of projects increasing by 10% year-on-year. The funding rate is 8.3 percentage points higher than the national average funding rate.

The National Natural Science Foundation projects continued to make breakthroughs in key fields, with the outstanding achievement. In the first batch of announced projects, 3 key projects and 2 outstanding youth fund projects are funded.

62 General Projects and 97 Youth Science Fund projects are granted. The number of Youth Fund projects increased by 11.49% compared to last year, which indicates that the application quality of the National Natural Science Foundation of GDUT has been significantly improved.
